NOTE: In this section of the website, you will find a gallery of stemmed wine glasses I’ve been collecting for quite a few years now. The rules are simple. I visit a tasting room and do a tasting. If they sell a stemmed wine glass that has a tasting room/winery logo, I buy it and add it to my collection. Most of these glasses represent an actual tasting room, and they come from all over the U.S. A small amount of these glasses come from wine events where collectible glasses were provided to participants. Not every tasting room sells logo’d wine glasses, and if they do, many sell non-stemmed glasses which I’m not interested in. As I continue to collect these glasses I’ll periodically update this gallery to include newer additions.
How did this collection start? Well, when I first met my wife, on one of our initial wine tasting trips we stopped in to a tasting room in Zillah, WA., called Wineglass Cellars. The wines were nice, and there were a number of logo’d wine glasses sitting on shelving around the perimeter of the tasting room. The winemaker/owner described to us the origins of his collection and my wife-to-be (at that time) suggested we start a collection of our own. Our first collectible wine glass was from this now-closed tasting room.
