About 5 or 6 years ago my wife and I visited Long Shadows Vintners in Walla Walla, WA., for our first tasting at this winery. As we were seated for the tasting, we noticed some really beautiful and amazing glass art that we simply fell in love with. I am no art connoisseur, but this type of art work is mesmerizing to me. As we tasted and walked around the tasting room absorbing the beauty of Chihuly Sculpted Glass Pieces, we discovered that the artist actually has a couple large galleries in the Seattle-Tacoma area of Western Washington. So…during one of our West-side wine adventures, we visited one of his galleries and could not get enough! So here, in this photo gallery, we highlight some of the photos we took during one of our Taste Washington visits years ago.
Update: More recently, in early April, 2019 we traveled to Tacoma to visit another Chihuly Glass Museum and a Bridge with more Glass Art, where we took a number of additional photos. His work is inspiring to me, and perhaps more importantly, when I see this art, it makes me want to drink wine! Enjoy!!
